Robert Milton Brantley, 92 years old of Princeton, KY, formerly of Marion, KY, passed away at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY on
Friday February 20, 2026.
He was born in Marion, KY in 1933 to Leonard and Mabel Brantley. After graduating from Crittenden County High School in 1951, Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army in Japan. After the Army, Robert was a heavy equipment operator and salesman, while farming on the side. He then became the owner of a gas and oil company for several years. In 1988, Robert became a cellular phone salesman until retirement. Robert was recognized as a Kentucky Colonel and served on Marion City Council.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Chandler Brantley, brother, Harold Brantley, brother Gerald Brantley and sister, Marybell Jay. He is survived by his daughters, Depeka Brantley Croft (Dale) of Scottsville, KY; Sebrena Brantley Clark (David) of Franklin, KY; Shaun Brantley McPherson (Shane) of Tompkinsville, KY and son, DaneBrantley (Renee) of Princeton, KY. Grandchildren Dusty Croft (Julie), Robby Croft (Jenny), Colby Clark (Ann Kennedy), Tanner Clark (Megan), Chandler McPherson (Ashton), Cade McPherson (Kelsie), and Chesney McPherson. Great –Grandchildren, Andy, Macy, Elly, McKenna and Leah Croft and Hagan McPherson.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1PM Sunday February 22,2026 at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY. Visitation begins at 11:00 AM, service at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Mapleview Cemetery.
