Thomas Elwood Guess

Thomas Elwood Guess age 89 of Marion, KY passed away at his home February 25, 2026.

Mr. Guess was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Union  Baptist Church. He had worked as a field representative with the PVA office. As a member of Cypress Lodge F & AM #236 he served as Past Master and was awarded his 50 year membership pin. He was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where he also served as Past Worthy Patron. He also held membership in the Scottish Rite.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandy (Randy) Urbanowski, Marion, KY; sons,  Thomas Guess Jr., St. Louis, MO and Christopher (Beth) Guess, Huntingdon, TN;

Grandchildren, Josh (Stacy), Jacob & Jordan Urbanowski; Justin, Stacey, Lauren, Hunter & Maggie Guess; ten great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and sister-in-law, Bernice Guess, Marion, KY.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Reginald and Duke Binkley Guess; 1st wife, Shirley Ann Guess and 2nd wife, Polly Guess; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 PM Sunday,  March 1, 2026 at Myers Funeral Home with burial in Pinkneyville Cemetery. Visitation for Thomas will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Myers Funeral Home between the hours of 5 and 8 PM with Masonic Services at 7 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 8 AM until service time at 2:30PM.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Shriners Childrens Hospital would be appreciated.

Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
